Christ Church Central is a family!
Just like any other family, we have different generations within our family who need looking after and caring for in different ways. We want to make sure that everyone – from the very youngest to the very eldest – feels like they belong, knows that they are loved, and learns about our great God in a way that they can understand.
To help us do that effectively, we meet together as a church family for the first 15 minutes of our 10:30am Sunday meeting before children up to school year 8 head off to the following groups:
Sunday Ripples – Crèche for babies and toddlers
Sunday Ripples provides a safe, fun, and friendly environment for babies and toddlers to be looked after during the main meeting. Parents are always welcome to stay, but with experienced leaders and a room full of toys, story books, and playdough, you can leave your children in safe hands whilst you head back to the main meeting for your own Bible teaching.
Minis – Children’s Church for Preschool, Reception and Year 1
Mini Club Central teaches young, enquiring minds about our great God from the Bible. Through games, simple Bible stories, songs, crafts and a whole host more, we want to partner with parents as they seek to bring up their children to know and love the Lord Jesus for themselves.
Club Central – Children’s Church for School Years 2 to 4
Club Central provides an exciting mixture of Bible teaching, activities, drama, crafts, memory verses, worksheets, and prayer. With engaging, age-appropriate and applied teaching, we want to help every child come to know God for themselves, and to grow in their relationship with him.
Club Central Plus (CC+) – Children’s Church for School Years 5 to 8
In CC+ we take the opportunity to dig a bit deeper into the Bible to find out more about what it really means to know Jesus and follow him in day-to-day life, with group discussion, games, crafts and activities.
Generally speaking, children in school years 9 and above stay in our main meeting, receiving bible teaching with the rest of the church family.
All of our youth leaders are required to have the appropriate DBS checks and attend our church’s child protection training.
