Women’s Ministry

Discovering the joy and freedom of being women loved by God and made in His image.

What does it mean to be a Christian woman in the 21st century? We seek to help women of all ages and stages of life discover Christ, to grow in faith and build strong, lasting friendships, developing both in spiritual and emotional well-being. We look to God’s word to teach and guide us and to encourage women to live under God’s grace.

We organise one-to-ones and small Bible study groups, and fortnightly during term time there is a women’s Bible study from 10–11.30am on a Wednesday (this will take a break from September-December 2018).

Twice a year we have a women’s breakfast which meets on a Saturday morning from 9 to 11, with a talk from the bible and opportunity for discussion and prayer. All women (15yrs+) are welcome.

The audio from the latest breakfast (November 2018) can be listened to here.

For women wishing to know more about the basics of the Christian faith, a day-time Christianity Explored course is available on request.

Women in our church are also involved with Ripples, our midweek baby and toddler group; and Create – a group for people who enjoy arts and crafts.
