Christ Church Central • Sheffield
A church for people who don't go to church
Christ Church Central supports a number of mission partners across the world, and these relationships are really important to us. We support our partners in different ways depending on their circumstances, but support could include dedicated funding from church giving, supporting partners on home assignment in the UK, praying for them regularly, and offering other kinds of support where we are able to. We also support short-term mission partners - most recently this has included a five month gap year in the Gambia, a summer mission in Ethiopia, and a two week beach mission in Greece.
Three of our partners are listed below:
Dave, Emma and Joshua Moore are working in medicine and education with New Tribes Mission in Papua New Guinea.
Tim, Nicky, Joshy and Benjy Sandell are supporting and developing student work with IFES and UFM in the Greek cities of Volos and Larissa.
Georgia is working with UCCF as a Relay Worker, working with students at the Christian Union at Leeds College of Music.
We also support other mission partners in corners of the globe where it’s not safe to put their details online. Please do ask us for more information.

We have a mission support team which meets regularly to review how we can support our mission partners best, identify and train prospective partners or people wanting to do short-term mission, and which seeks to make links with partner agencies and other churches in our region. Team members are: Charles Raven (chair), Matthew English, Bill Fearnehough, Louisa King and Louise Viner.
Our mission partners also produce regular prayer updates which we use to pray for them at Sunday services, at Church Family Prayer meetings, in our Gospel Teams, and individually. For more information about our mission partners, or about the mission support team in general, contact Charles Raven.
